North Face Endurance Challenge

Saturday December 5th we woke up early again and headed to the North Face Endurance Challenge for Bill to participate in the half marathon it was in the bay area near Sausalito. They had events up to a 50 mile run. All the kids slept in the car on the way down. Thankfully it was dark quite a bit of the way so they could sleep.

Surprisingly Lennon slept the longest.

Our new addition for this trip was a modular hauler, which is Bill's Christmas present. It has four bags that fit into one big bag for organized travel!

We finally get there and North Face has it set up pretty cool, with several booths that were just cool.

The starting line and the finish line.

All the runners passing us by. It looks really cool.

While dad was running the kids and I hiked down to the beach.

It was a gorgeous day and a really nice beach.

One of the kids favorite things to do at the beach is to play chase with the waves.

We found this cool teeter toter and it entertained us for quite some time.

While trying to take this picture we got hit by a wave and our feet were soaked.

Lennon spotted dad first. We cheered him on.

He looks great. He said he was super exhausted and that the hills were really good ones. Afterwards we did a little sight seeing.
