Muir Beach

We went to Muir beach on November 14 so Bill could participate in a trail run. He did a 17k. He placed 5th in his division. He did so good. I was so proud. It was a very hard run. We left really early to get there on time. The race started at 8 and he needed to be there a little early. I think we left at 5:30: After we found my purse--I thought a homeless person swiped it off the front seat of the car.

Before the race all relaxed and ready to go. It was a beautiful day. A little cool in the morning but ended up really nice.

I was warm in my toasty down jacket. Bill is never cold.

After the race. Looking really great.

And really sweaty.

We hung out at the beach. The kids were just going to get their feet wet but ended up soaked. They had a lot of fun.

The girls playing in the waves. They were daring the waves to come and get them and they did.

Lennon enjoying himself. At first he didn't want to get out of the car, but he ended up having a great time.

Meghan and Abby's pants got so wet that they were falling down. I thought Meghan's crack was funny!

Bill playing Indiana Jones with a piece of seaweed. He whacked himself in the back : )

Our Green Beans.

The trip home. Meghan was the only one to zonk out on Lennon's shoulder. A great day--except when we stopped at Carl's Jr by our house. and Bill couldn't find his wallet. He thought the kids might have knocked it out of the car back at Stinson. But no, it was in my purse. Perfect way to end the day, especially considering the way it began.
