We had fun Family Camping this year. Our theme for the kids was Knights and Princesses. We held a Royal Academy it was a obstacle course to train the knights. Olivia and Sam brought a castle pinata. Then on Thursday we had a quest, complete with tunics, swords and the kids earned their shields. They fought a dragon and retrived the crown jewels.
Elizabeth and I won the spades tournament. We first one Jesse and Leah and Sam and Olivia won Joe and Jessica then we battled it out with Sam and Olivia and won. We were up pretty late.
On Thursday we took the kids on a hike. We had 12 kids with us and 9 adults. We hiked to a small lake by Lake Sterling. Then we hiked back to Lake Sterling to swim and relax. It was a lot of fun. The kids did a great job.
